Story PT 2

It was the day before Christmas Eve and Emmalynn was on her way home from work when her phone rang. It was Charles' mother inviting her and Rylan to her annual Christmas party. At first she was hesitant about going but she agreed to it only because they were Rylan's grandparents. Later that night Emmalynn got a call from Andrew. " Hey...I was just calling to see how you were doing without Charles this Christmas." "Well...its a little lonely but Rylan and I are a lot happier now." "That's good. Em You know I am here for you and Rylan if you need me." "Thanks Andrew I appreciate that." "Ok well i will let you go I only wanted to call and check up on you...Bye." " Thanks. Goodnite." And with that Emmalynn hung up the phone.
AS she began to get Rylan ready for bed she started thinking about Andrew. Wondering why he really called her. Then, she thought about his smile, voice, his eyes, and just everything about him. Soon it was midnight and Emmalynn needed to get some sleep. She didnt sleep much though. She tossed and turned all night long thinking about this wonderful person. The next day at the party Emmalynn sat in a chair alone, in a corner while everybody made a fuss over Rylan. Even Charles was acing like he was the best daddy in the world. He hasnt even seen his child since the day she left him. Just as she was starting to think how this party couldnt be over soon enough she heard the sexiest voice in the world. It was Andrew as he walked in he glanced over at her, shook Charles' hand and came and sat down beside her.
